First off, Thrash as in Metallica's Kill em All album. That's 100% thrash at it's finest to me.

I'm 15 i have been playing guitar for a few years, My favorite bands are:

I would like to round up a band. The area I would like to explore falls under post-rock, though I really hate to pigeonhole anything, and the music is definitely not genre specific. I would like to do one or all of the following: Vocals, Guitar, Piano/Keys. I am also capable on percussion, bass, and other folk instruments. The people I would like to work with are also capable on various instruments, though not exclusively.
Some of my influences include bands such as Porcupine Tree, A Perfect Circle, Russian Circles, Radiohead, etc.. and some more obscure projects (though huge for me) such as: Bass Communion, Steven Wilson, Silian Rail, and Tabla Beat Science.
My songwriting style is a mix of structured parts, and open jams. I like to take an idea, and then just jam it for 20 minutes, see where it goes, what it is capable of, then return to structuring songs.
Whatever instrument you play, doesn't matter what it is, if this sounds interesting, and up your alley, lets work it out. You can text me via (nine two eight) 651-1016, or e-mail me.

Each band will play 2 sets during their semi-final, and one band will advance each week to the finals. Bands will play 2 sets each during the finals. We are a heavy metal/shock rock band. The band name is Betty Krueger. The band has a total of 3 members right now. We are in need of lead and rhythm guitarists. Preferably between the ages of 15 and 19.(But we will consider someone outside age preferences depending on skill level) The band consists of two 16 y.o and an 18 y.o. All members are in high school (two juniors and a senior) we live in Casa Grande AZ. Band is influenced by Mudvayne, Manson (up until Golden Age of Grotesque), Rob Zombie, Korn, Pantera, Twisted Sister, Alice Cooper, and Metallica. We are looking for a guitarist who knows what he is doing, is fairly organized, has their own equipment, and doesn't mind an eccentric onstage performance.
